Introduction

High Bending Strength – We have strict management on the quality and composition of purchasing raw materials. We use the 3500 ton and 4100 ton extruding machine to expand the bending strength capacity of the graphite electrodes.

High Thermal Conductivity – We have established an optimal balance that brings a smaller thermal expansion and higher thermal conductivity.

Machined with high precision and have low contact resistance between electrodes and holder.

The graphitization workshop are equipped with 35KV and 110KV high-voltage transformer, which ensures the optimization of the electrode conductivity.

Electrodes can be supplied with or without preset nipples, and we can also supply special nipples transfer adapters. The graphite electrodes are supplied default with a unscrewing prevent system. Long nipples are recommended, which help to reduce the collar break rate.

Application

  1. Graphite electrodes are mainly used in electric arc furnaces for steelmaking.
  2. The submerged electric furnace used for smelting and producing industrial silicon metal and yellow phosphorus, about 100kg of graphite electrode is needed for producing 1ton of industrial silicon metal, and about 40kg of graphite electrode is needed for producing 1ton of yellow phosphorus.
  3. Graphite electrodes are used in resistance furnaces to produce graphite, molten glass, and silicon carbide, etc.
  4. The graphite electrode blanks are used to process various graphite products, such as crucibles, molds, capacitor tubes, and quartz bricks.

Instructions:

  1. It’s necessary to avoid moisture, dust, dirt and collision when using or storing electrodes.
  2. When carrying the electrodes by forklift trucks, their balance should be kept to prevent slipping and breaking.
  3. The graphite electrodes should be stored in clean and dry places.
  4. Operators need clean the threads of the electrodes before connecting them, then carefully rotate the contact into one end and screw the electrode hoist into the other end.
  5. Use special torque spanner to tighten the electrode according to the instructions. And use mechanical, hydraulic or wind pressure equipment to tighten the electrode to a fixed torque.
  6. The contact surface between the holder and the electrode should be cleaned regularly to maintain good contact with the electrode, and the cooling water of the holder must be prohibited from leaking.
