According to the VIETNAMPLUS report, the latest statistics show that Vietnam’s steel exports in the first quarter of 2020 totaled about 1.5 million tons, an increase of 3.8% year-on-year, and the export volume exceeded $815 million. Among them, steel exports to the Chinese market have grown rapidly.

Statistics show that in the first two months of this year, Vietnam’s steel exports to China amounted to 211,000 tons, a 25-fold increase over the same period last year, which is close to half of Vietnam’s total steel exports to China of more than 442,000 tons in 2019.
